Mariana Meraz is a filmmaker and photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. Rooted in documentary and drawn to the space between reality and imagination, her work explores people, music and everyday life through an intimate, cinematic and sometimes surreal lens. Working across digital, Super 8, 16mm and direct animation, she collaborates with artists, musicians and record labels internationally, creating short films, music films, artist portraits, album covers and visual narratives.
